Sanawad (Madhya Pradesh): The village of Bedia de Sanawad tehsil, famous for its spicy peppers, experienced major political development when Congressman Sachin Birla, representing the Barwah assembly constituency in Khargone district, joined the Bharatiya Janata party in attendance. by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

At a public rally in the village of Bedia, about 17 kilometers from the Sanawad tehsil headquarters, CM greeted Birla by chanting “Badi Der Bhaiyi Nandlala” – the slogan of the BJP workers.

He hugged Sachin Birla and ex-MP Hitendrasinh Solanki on stage and added that Sachin Birla is the son of Nimar soil, no one can buy him.

In his speech, Chouhan assured that the issues raised by Birla would be resolved after the polls.

Chouhan said Birla was trapped. How long have you been waiting? Chouhan said that we warmly welcome Sachin Birla.

“Kamal Nath paid no attention to Birla’s development plans during his tenure. However, Birla’s entry into the BJP would pave the way for rapid development of the Barwah Assembly constituency, ”Chouhan added.

State Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel and Finance Minister Jagdish Deora were also present.

Murder of democracy

Earlier, after Birla moved to BJP, the Madhya Pradesh Congress called him a “murder of democracy”.

A few weeks ago, Sulochana Rawat, former Congresswoman for Jobat, linked to the poll, joined the ruling BJP with her son Vishal Rawat. Sulochana Rawat, who had won the elections on a congressional ticket from Assembly seat Jobat (ST) twice – in 1998 and 2008 – was seen as that party’s potential candidate from that seat.

Justifying his decision and the reason he joined the BJP, Birla during Kamal Nath’s rule in the state, he made every effort to develop his constituency, but every development plan was ruled out by the government of Congress under the pretext of financial crisis.

Birla said her goal is to make Barwah a district for the rapid development of the Nimar region. Irrigation and drinking water reached 41 villages in Katkoot region and 14 villages in Maheshwar region. To provide basic facilities to rural areas, it should be included in the Municipality of Barwah.

He also spoke about the development of the Mandi de Bedia pepper, one of the main mandi peppers in Asia and said that 62 acres are available for the expansion of the Bedia pepper market.

“I believe that the dreams of development of the region will only come true under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and that is why I decided to join the BJP for a comprehensive and efficient development of the constituency of the Barwah Assembly, ”Birla said.
