Mardi Gras 2022 Event Helps Three Local Agencies Feed Our Homeless Communities and Children |

COVINGTON, Ky., Dec 3 2021 / PRNewswire / – Mardi Gras for Homeless Children always brings a lot of people and excitement for this fabulous dining experience, and this year will mark the 31st Anniversary celebration of the year. The event will again be live at Northern Kentucky Congress center on 1st of Marchst, 2022. Mardi Gras proceeds go to three agencies in the region that provide essential care to homeless women and children. These are Bethany House Services, Brighton Center’s Homeward Bound and Welcome House, Inc. in Covington. Together, these agencies serve over 40,000 people in need in our community each year.

Applications for the Mardi Gras poster competition were on display at the recent Mardi Gras sponsorship launch event. Additionally, at this exclusive event, attendees voted for the winning poster to be used in advertising. Nominations were submitted by two local artists with the the winning design will soon be displayed at hundreds of restaurants and various Wyler automotive groups across the tri-state to promote ticket sales. Mardi Gras features over 50 fantastic food and drink stalls provided by members of the Northern Kentucky Restaurant Association. A highlight of the upcoming celebration is a Royal Court parade featuring former Cincinnati Bengals runner Giovani bernard as Grand Marshal, Scott sloan and Sheila Gray as king and queen, with the Kentucky 2021 Beechwood Marching Band Class AA Championship and a chariot. Live and silent auctions offer a remarkable selection of items with incredible values. Additionally, the event features live music from Tickled Pink.
