Rabale MIDC police deliver three books for the murder of a tempo driver

Rabale MIDC Police have registered a murder case against three people after the autopsy report revealed a physical assault on a 38-year-old temporary driver from Digha who was found dead inside an auto-rickshaw near his house on May 9. Initially, the police had registered a report of accidental death, after the autopsy report of May 24, an FIR under sections 302 and 120B of the IPC was registered.

The deceased was identified as Bhagwan More, a temporary driver from Digha to Navi Mumbai. More was found dead in an auto-rickshaw near his chawl. When the incident happened, More’s family was in his home village of Osmanabad, Maharashtra.

According to the police, More was an alcoholic and on the evening of May 8 he had been drinking with three other people. According to the complainant, Priyanka Bhagwan More, wife of the deceased, she was told by one of the three who were drinking together that More had had a fight with two others and was sleeping in an auto-rickshaw. When the deceased’s wife asked an acquaintance to check, the person also found him asleep. So she didn’t call again. Later, she received a call informing her that her husband had died and that the police had taken him for an autopsy.

Police said the three people arrested following a complaint by the deceased’s wife are Nagnath Jadhav, Krishna Jadhav and Santosh Mishra. The May 24 autopsy report revealed wounds and bleeding inside the abdomen from an assault. Based on the autopsy and the complaint of the wife of the deceased, one murder case was registered against three and the police opened the investigation.
