The Power of one vote contest is underway

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Deputy District Electoral Officer Pratul Chandra Sinha said that since National Voters Day on January 25, the Election Commission of India has been holding a competition to raise awareness among voters. The title of the competition is: “My vote is my future: the power of a vote”. It is organized within the framework of Systematic Voter Education and Electoral Practices (SVEEP).

The contest includes a quiz contest, video making, poster design, and a song and slogan contest that anyone can enter. The competition started on January 25 and will run until March 15.

Sinha said entries that speak for or against a language, political party, religion, sect or unverified objectionable information would not be considered valid for the competition. The commission will have the right to invalidate any entry and, in the event of a dispute, the decision of the commission will be final. Entrants will be required to send their own original documents and the Indian Copyright Act 1957 will apply to entries.
